How we work
Small teams, real ownership
We keep teams small enough that every person owns a meaningful surface — a city launch, a partner product, a payments flow — not a slice of a slice.
In the cities we serve
Product and engineering spend time on the ground with restaurants, chefs and drivers. We do not design features from far away.
Async, with intent
Most of our work is async and written. We meet when we need to decide or learn together, not by default.
Operator mindset
We hire people who would rather fix the problem than file a ticket about it. Pragmatism over purity.
Who we hire
We are usually looking for people in four broad areas:
- Engineering — full-stack, mobile, backend, data, platform
- Product & design — strong taste, customer obsession, fast iteration
- City operations — general managers, ops leads, supply teams
- Growth & partnerships — restaurant, home chef and corporate sales
We also hire for finance, support, brand and people roles as cities scale.
What we look for
- A track record of shipping or running things end to end
- Strong written communication — most of our work is text
- Empathy for restaurants, drivers and home chefs
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias to action
- Willingness to operate close to the customer
